Community Care through Creativity

This project is being featured at two of our upcoming Scrap n Yap events. March 26th from 4-7pm at The Clapping Monkey in Fridley MN and March 28th from 11am-4pm at The Center in Richfield, MN.  Check the calendar for more information.

Each time we meet, I try to have one small easy, fun, and often meaningful project.  I provide basic supplies (first come, first serve) and directions.

Inspired by the idea of a hive, this activity invites you to explore how individual acts of care contribute to something larger. Through zines and hexagon-shaped pages, you’ll respond to 30 prompts that reflect on connection, support, boundaries, and belonging.

Each piece stands on its own, but together they tell a bigger story—one of shared care, creativity, and community.
